How is the process undertaken and where is the latest 3 year rolling plan for student enrolments?
Institutions submit Student Enrolment Plans to the Minister of Higher Education & Training, commenting on performance indicators such as growth rates, success rates, qualification profiles and research outputs, to indicate what the institution expects its student inputs & outputs to be during a 3 year period, and explain what contribution the University has made to national development priority areas for future development or expansion. Meetings are held between DHET & individual institutions, after which a set of enrolment planning parameters for the institution are finalised.
