A team of Human Kinetics and Ergonomics students under the guidance of Professor Candice Christie are collaborating with Cricket South Africa to manage the Proteas workload data.  The team, which consists of Prof Candice Christie, Dr. Jonathan Davy, Lee Pote (PhD candidate), Travis Steenekamp (MSc candidate), Catherine Munro (MSc candidate) and Kayla McEwan (Honours student), have been working on data sent from Greg King (former HKE student and current strength and conditioning coach for the Proteas) to determine individual player thresholds to reduce the risk of injury and improve performance.  The data received will also be used for research purposes by the HKE Department to further the understanding of the ever growing game.
