HKE hosts College and DSG

Date Released: Fri, 29 January 2016 08:44 +0200

In between assembling anatomically correct skeletons, the scholars studied antagonistic muscles, measured blood pressure and calculated back and hand grip strength.

An introduction to the impact of sleep on performance was an interesting session - and the learners found the opportunity to discuss sports related injuries with the HKE staff and postgraduates a valuable opportunity.

We look forward to hosting the SAC and DSG learners again - and invite any school to arrange a similar visit! (Contact person is Mrs June McDougall, Departmental Administrator, telephone 046 603 8471 or email her: j.mcdougall@ru.ac.za).
