Exit Interviews
The University seeks to engage with all individuals who have chosen to leave the institution. This information can be useful in providing insight into staff member’s experiences at the institution. Exit interviews gathered over a period of time can provide insight into systemic problems that need to be addressed. Participation in the exit interview process is voluntary. When a staff member indicates their resignation and this has been sent to HR and the resignation accepted, the staff member will receive a letter from HR asking them to participate in an exit interview or complete an electronic questionnaire. the staff member will be guided to the relevant web-page.
The staff member will be asked to identify the interviewer from the exit interview pool for Academic Staff: Exit Interview Pool for Support Staff

Using the interview document, the interviewer will draft a short report for the HR Division so that data can be collated.
