On an annual basis, academics can apply for personal promotion to a higher level post. Staff considering the submission of an application for promotion, are strongly encouraged to discuss their application with the Dean of the Faculty. Personal Promotion is a developmental process and should not be a last minute decision.
While the HR Division calls for applications in May/ June of each year, the compilation of evidences of teaching, required for the promotion application, takes time. Academics are encouraged to work at least a year ahead of the intended submission in preparing their applications.
