Reports on hardware faults or network problems and requests for advice on the use of computer systems should be made to our Helpdesk.
You can either:
- e-mail a problem report to firstname.lastname@example.org
- get telephonic assistance on +27 46 603 8288
- or visit them in person on the middle floor of Struben building.
The Helpdesk is open during normal core University office hours, i.e. Weekdays between 07:30–17:00.
No support is provided after hours or on public holidays.
Our Student Networking service provides a way for students to make use of their own private computers on the University's network. A separate page details the intricacies of this service, including the support available to students via our student Helpdesk.
