African Initiatives Colloquium and Database

Rhodes needs to think deeply about its position in Africa. The recent Review of the International Office recommends that the Office "initiate a university-wide debate on the meaning and rationale for internationalisation ..." A crucial theme in that debate will be what relationships Rhodes can and should have with institutions and communities in the rest of Africa. This is an attempt to provide the supporting documentation and information for that debate.
Here you can find the draft Report on African Initiatives, a compilation of funding and information resources for African initiatives, a developing data base of African initiatives at Rhodes, and a report on the African Initiatives Colloquium (November 2007).
