Exchange/Study-Abroad Students’ Tea with Ms Orla Quinlan
Our new exchange/study abroad students were invited to a fabulous tea by Ms Orla Quinlan, Director: International Office on Wednesday 24th August in the VC Dining Room.

This was a wonderful opportunity for exchange students to mingle from their various institutes and countries: USA, China, England, and Germany.

Two returning Rhodents who were on exchange during Semester one this year discussed their experiences and how it was more of a “culture shock” coming home than going.

Four French students who are on exchange for a full year once again enjoyed the generous array of savoury and sweet treats.

Among the guests were the president of the SRC, Allan Magubane, and the 2010 International Affairs Counsellor, Chipo Hamukoma.
