Sarah MacQueen went on exchange to the University of Leicester in the first semester of 2011.
I went on exchange to the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. My exchange experience was amazing – I lived with other international students from all over Europe, made amazing friends from different parts of the world and travelled extensively!

My exchange university was ideally situated in the Midlands region in England which meant it was an hour on the train to anywhere – London, Manchester, Liverpool, and the Lake District! I travelled somewhere different almost every weekend – the University had an amazing international students’ programme that meant I was able to meet other exchange students and explore England at the same time! I was studying law and took Criminology, EU Law, International Law and Conflict of Laws as my subjects.
