SANORD is a non-profit organisation of higher education and research institutions committed to forming partnerships from the Nordic countries and southern Africa. The Southern African-Nordic Center is a partnership of 25 research-led higher education institutions from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and from Malawi, South Africa and Zambia. Its primary aim is to promote strategic, multilateral research collaboration between the institutions as they address local and global challenges of innovation and development in both the Nordic and southern Africa regions.
