What are you doing this winter break? Have you thought about attending the International Summer School?
Are you perhaps interested in an intensive course that:

Offers an overview of an important and fascinating theme – the South African transition from Apartheid to democracy - combined with a focus on a special topic?

Blends political and social theory and practice and allows students to get hands-on experience or engage in service learning?

Is taught by the best and most experienced lecturers and researchers at Rhodes University?

Incorporates the National Arts Festival in the syllabus?

Allows you to mix with international students from universities like Harvard & Princeton?
Rhodes students are invited to apply. We are looking for 3rd year students and above.
A background in the social sciences is not required.

Tuition will be free, but participants will need R180 x 29 days for full board and lodging. If you need financial assistance, please provide a breakdown of your needs.
