Summerschool Announced for 2007 and Application Forms Available

Following the resounding success of the first International Summer School, applications have opened for 2007 and you just can't afford to miss out!!!

International Summer School 2007

The Rhodes University International Summer School offers a demanding and rigorous study abroad programme with the following features:

1. Students get the big picture on an important and fascinating theme – the South African transition from Apartheid to democracy - combined with a focus on a special topic.
2. The School blends political and social theory and practice – students get hands-on field experience or engage in service learning.
3. The best and most experienced lecturers and researchers at Rhodes University teach.
4. Students get to see scenic, inaccessible parts of South Africa.
5. Students can participate in Africa's top arts festival.
6. Students can prepare for the programme via the School website.
7. Students get four US credits.
8. The School aims to mix international and Rhodes students.

The School runs from 22 June to 21 July 2007 and the deadline for application is 28 March 2007.
