Archived Stream
The event has now been and gone. Some slight technical problems aside, our live stream worked very well and we were slightly overwhelmed by the response to it. We had some fantastic remote participation in the event both via IRC and via Google Hangouts.
We've received lots of requests to make copies of the event available. We intend to create final, post-produced version from the footage recorded on the cameras. However, as we're about to go into University vacations, this is only likely to be available early next year.
In the mean time, we've made the raw, un-edited footage (as it went out over the live streams) available.
There are two sets of footage available, corresponding to the two streams we ran. They're available either from YouTube, or for download in Windows Media format.
- Wide Shot of Venue – 2h42m – YouTube or download 305MB from South Africa / Germany
- Panning/Closeup – 2h45m – YouTube or download 369MB from South Africa / Germany
People who're not in Africa will probably find the German mirror significantly faster.
