Multimedia Designer
bigFIG Digital Media, producers of premium interactive magazines, is looking for a talented designer with a particular interest in multimedia and web development to join their team.
The role will slot into their small but rapidly growing production team tasked with building their range of interactive magazines. The designer will work closely with the Art Director and the editorial team and will be required to assist across their production workflow.
Tasks will include retouching and optimizing images for Web, building story assets from Adobe Illustrator, animating narrative in Flash & After Effects.

Role
- Digital asset creation from Photoshop and Illustrator mock-ups
- Working on Flash-based elements
- Video-editing in After Effects
- Animation in Flash and After Effects
- Illustration skills
- Sound recording/editing
- Working on multiple projects and ensuring deadlines are met
Personal Skills/Attributes
- Solid designs skills and interest in telling stories with new media
- Ambition to learn and grow
- Attention to detail and quality of work
- Good time management
Advantageous
- Knowledge of AS2. Knowledge of AS3 an advantage
- Knowledge of PHP, CSS, mySQL an advantage
- Social Media Marketing, knowledge and interest
