Rhodes Journalism Review
The Rhodes Journalism Review, established in 1991, is a specialist magazine for journalists. The writers consist of practitioners in the field and media experts world-wide. Within the last five years the Rhodes Journalism Review has taken a powerfully interventionist stance, setting agendas and promoting critical media issues with very high credibility as a forum. It communicates successfully with striking and highly accessible design. It is distributed to every newsroom in South Africa as well as training institutions and universities teaching journalism, communication and media studies, and also reaches further a field into African newsrooms and internationally. The editor is Anthea Garman, senior lecturer in the school.
