On Friday, 10 May 2019, the Faculty of Law spent some time with the high school students who attended Rhodes University’s Open Day. Part of our session was aimed at explaining the structure of our LLB offering and informing students about the flexibility of the law degree. We had student society representatives share their experiences and speak to the pupils about their student initiatives. The session also included a talk about social media and law, where the students were warned about the dangers of being associated with defamatory statements made on social media. We ended the day with the students sharing how much they have learnt from our students and staff. Thank you to all who were involved in making the day a success.
