Professional: Admitted as attorney and conveyancer in the High Court of South Africa; Dip. in Project Management (NWU) Prof. Bodenstein is Director of the Rhodes Legal Aid Centre and Associate Professor of Law.

Professional Statement: During my 19 years of service in Law Clinics, I have developed expertise in clinical legal education, managing law clinics, Street Law , the management of projects involving access to justice, forensic medicine and the law, human rights as well as training programmes in legal- and human rights related fields.

Personal Statement: My wife, Rita, is a teacher and I have two sons, Sebastian (24) and Felix (22), who are both studying at UCT. Amongst my passions are being involved in facilitating access to justice, music, theatre and hiking. I believe in the potential of every human being to become a catalyst for change and improving others' lives.
