Jonathan Campbell was a practising attorney for 19 years, 14 of which were spent as Director of the Rhodes University Law Clinic. In January 2009 he moved over to Lincoln House to become Dean of Law.  At the Law Clinic he developed the Clinical Legal Education Program to become an integral part of the LLB degree. Further, he developed the Clinic to a point at which it now has 21 staff operating from two branch offices in Grahamstown and Queenstown, and an outreach program to 45 paralegal advice offices and their communities throughout the Eastern Cape. His fields of interest include practical skills (e.g. trial advocacy, negotiation and mediation), consumer law and family law. He is a qualified divorce and family mediator.
