Information for all Law Students
The three functions of the Faculty are namely: teaching and learning, research and community engagement (chiefly through the two offices of the Law Clinic). The main focus is undergraduate teaching and learning, and the Faculty concentrates on providing high quality basic formative legal education. A Legal Theory major is offered in the Faculties of Humanities, Commerce and Science, and Commercial Law courses are offered in the Faculties of Commerce and Humanities. The Faculty's primary degree is the LLB, but this is also complemented by research LLM and PhD degrees.
