A study of Mathematics Teacher professional Identity as shaped through an in-school support programme.

Project outline:

The purpose of this study is to explore the process of change of mathematics teacher’s professional identity through their participation in a Mathematics Teacher Enrichment Programme which is reinforced by on-site in-school support.

Research Questions

1. How is mathematics teacher identity shaped through  their participation in the Mathematics Teacher Enrichment Programme which is reinforced by on-site in-school support?
2. How does Mathematics teacher Enrichment Programme which is underpinned by on-site in-school support and develop participating teacher’s effective teaching of mathematics?
