2 Donkin Street
This house is well fenced with burglar bars and Hi-tec security. It is a 10 minute walk from campus. The state of repair is functional and clean it has high quality furnishing. It has a small garden that is enclosed and serviced with off street parking. It has a prepaid meter and the tenants share the bill for the water. The owner is very involved and concerned and sees to the needs of her tenants. This house according to me is value for money.
2 Bond Street
Has two flats one outside and one attached to the house upstairs. The flat on the outside has two bedrooms, burglar bars and secure yard. The flat is clean and neat and fully furnished with high quality furniture. The flat shares a pool with the owners and the other tenants in the other flat. It has internet access and a prepaid meter. Water is included in the rental. It is a 10 minute walk from campus. The owner is involved and sees to the needs of the tenants.
The upstairs flat has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms and are in a good, clean and modern . The flat is fully furnished with good quality furniture and the bathrooms are modern and clean. The flats have off street parking and is behind a fenced wall and a remote controlled gate. It is a 10 minute walk from campus. I feel that this flat is definately value for money.
13 Leicester Street
The flat consists of 3 bedrooms and are fully furnished with nice and comfortable furniture and has a prepaid meter and shares the water with the house. It is a 10 minute walk away from campus and is a cleam and modern place with 2 bathrooms. The flat has burglar bars and Hi-tec security and off street parking behind a fenced wall and remote gate.
Very good value for money.
It is a 4 Bedroom house fully furnished with nice and comfortable furniture and has a prepaid meter and shares the water with the flat. It has 2 bathrooms that are clean and modern. It has burglar bars and Hi-tech security. It is 10 minutes from campus.
This house is definately value for money.
The Greens is a moder complex that has everything a student needs. Some of the flats are furnished by the owners, while others you have to furnish yourself. It has resnet, 24 hour security, is right next door to PicknPay centre and has its own gate leading into the PnP centre. It is located within a five minute walk from campus.
The Greens is definately good value for money.
63 African Street- Little Brown Jug- Rated 26/07/13
The Little Brown Jug needs a lot of work on the interior of the house as it has damp and needs to be painted. The security is reasonable as they have a fence, burglar bars and an alarm. The house is partially furnished with a bed and cupboard in the rooms and stove, fridge, microwave and washing machine in the kitchen. The water is included in the rental and the electricity is pre-paid. The price per room is fair.
The house definately needs work and the students that will move in there needs to make sure that all repairs are done before they move in.
8 Parry Street_- Rated 15/07/13
There are two rooms at 8 Parry Street rent. The rooms are furnished with a desk, a bed and cupboards. This is a very neat house with a big garden and is fully fenced with Hi-tec security. The kitchen is spacious and fully fitted and the the two lounges are both spacious too. The house is shared with a young lady and her daughter but the young lady is very friendly and mixes well with students. She prefers post grad students. I do recommend this house as it is not to far from Rhodes about a 15 minute walk and is in a good condition.
2 Athlone Court- Rated 19/07/13
Athlone Court is a two bedroomed flat with a stove, fridge and washing machine in the kitchen. Water is for the tenants account and electricity is prepaid. There is an ADSL line and the apartment is neat except for the bathroom that needs paint. I think this flat is worth the price.
7 Henry Street- Rated
5 Bedroom dig. Has security alarm and burglar bars. Electricity is prepaid, The house is in a good state of repairs and has all necesary equipment in it. The kitchen is fully equipped with all household things. This digs is woth the money.
This is an upmarket complex and has everything a student needs. It includes a laundry room and pool area. The complex is well looked after and is behind a security gate.Students will definately get their monies worth here.
7 Rowley Street (main house)
Is a 3 bedroom house wich is unfurnished but all the rooms and the kitchen have built in cupboards. The water is included in the rental and the electricity is prepaid. There is an alarm system, off street parking. The house is in a good condition.
