Acabiz - Where Academia Meets Buisness

Acabiz is a newly launched website that advertises itself as "The marketplace of choice where knowledge-seeking businesses can tender needed expertise from the world of academia."
They are currently advertising a Short Essay Competition open to postgraduates, postdocs and members of staff at South African Universities. The essay topic is: "What are the critical success factors which will determine Acabiz’ success (www.acabiz.com), as a knowledge sharing platform solely dedicated to the world of academia?”
If you can answer this question in essay form, in 500 words or less you may eligible to win a cash prize.

The Acabiz Short-Essay Challenge
Acabiz, a knowledge trading platform (www.acabiz.com) aiming to promote and strengthen the links between academia and business, is pleased to sponsor a short-essay competition.
Eligible participants should be enrolled in a South African university and pursuing either a PhD, a post-doctorate or be members of the academic staff. To participate, participants should answer the below query in a short essay format (no more than 500 words).
ESSAY TITLE:“What are the critical success factors which will determine Acabiz’ success (www.acabiz.com), as a knowledge sharing platform solely dedicated to the world of academia?”
AWARDS: 1st prize: €600; 2nd prize: €300; 3rd prize: €100.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: 2nd May, 2011 (17:00 CET);
Submitted essays will be evaluated by a team of 3 management consultants and winners will be notified by email and announced on the Acabiz web-site no later than 23rd May 2011 (17:00 CET).
