Puja Ray (SciFac Rep)

Puja joined Rhodes University in May 2010 and is working with Prof. Martin Hill at the Dept. of Zoology/Entomolgy as a Rhodes Postdoctoral Research Fellow. She obtained her PhD from RD University, India. Earlier, she was associated with Directorate of Weed Science Research and Tropical Forest Research Institute, India. Her research interests include activity enhancement of biocontrol agents of pest insects and weeds using eco-friendly approaches. Currently she is actively working on the interaction and integration of insect and fungal biocontrol agents of water hyacinth, described as the world’s worst aquatic weed.
