Vanessa Malila

B.Journ. MA (Rhodes) PhD (Leeds)

Vanessa is a past graduate of JMS who recently completed her PhD at the University of Leeds. She is now the postdoctoral Fellow in the Mellon Media & Citizenship project. Her areas of research include media and communications policy, globalisation, youth and media, youth and citizenship, media and civic engagement, media and political/civil rights.
