As part of health promotion and community outreach, pharmacy practice post graduates – Mr Theodore Duxbury, Ms Praise Marara, Ms Rufaro Manhanzva and Ms Samridhi Sharma - actively participated at SciFest 2017. This year’s health promotion exhibit focuses on three current health challenges in South Africa - epidemic increase in non-communicable diseases; increasing Antimicrobial resistance and the need for sustainable environmental health.
RUPSA, Children of the Soil, Professor Janice Limson’s students and the Human Kinetics and Ergonomics team led by Dr Jonathan Davy, also participated for increasing the topics and outreach to visitors coming to the Faculty of Pharmacy’s exhibit.
