59th SAPSF Conference

59th Annual SAPSF Conference 2012 1-6 July 2012

The 59th Annual South African Pharmaceutical Student's Federation Conference will take place at the University of Witwatersrand from 1-6 July 2012 this year.

This is a perfect event to engage and meet other fellow Pharmacy students from across the country from all 8 Pharmacy schools.  The conference provides an opportunity to network with your future colleagues, meet possible future employers such as Dischem, discuss important matters relating to Pharmacy, take part in CPD talks and other interesting presentations.  Students who attend will have the opportunity to gain information regarding the profession, as well as gain skills that will equip them for future references as future pharmacists.

But what is a conference without some fun? There will be fun events every night , from the traditional events such as the slave auctions and Mike's mugg to having a good time out on the town.

This conference will be your opportunity to have your voice heard in Pharmacy, decide on the future leadership of the Federation (maybe you?) or even start your own path in National Pharmacy Leadership in this country.

The theme of the conference is termed “Pharming the Future: Beyond the Counter” and revolves around the question of the Pharmacist’s identity and where we fit into the Healthcare Profession.

Cost:

R 1000 per person (with accommodation)

R 600 per person (no accommodation required)

Cost includes the following:

- Accommodation for 5 nights (R1000 fee only)
