The psychology department has once again seen a dramatic increase in the number of applicants for the 12 places that it offers annually in the Clinical and Counselling Psychology Programmes. This year 181 people have applied for a place on these programmes, a 20% increase from last year. Also, we have received more applicants from previously disadvantaged groups than previous years. Already a highly competitive selection process, this year will be the most competitive ever.
