Prof. Louise Vincent

Louise Vincent is Associate Professor in the Department of
Political and International Studies at Rhodes University. Her research
interest is in body politics, biopower and governmentality. Her published
work reflects an ongoing fascination with the ways in which political power
is written on the bodies of citizens. She is interested in particular in
reading South Africa's political transformation through a corporeal lens.
