Prof Chris Stones continues as editor of the Indo-Pacific Journal of Phenomenology.
Prof Tom Dowd from the Department of Psychology at Kent State University was a visiting professor in the department for two months. In this time he delivered a number of research papers, worked with our Masters in Clinical and Counselling Psychology students, and mentored a number of staff and students regarding their research. In addition, Prof Swartz from the Department of Psychology at the University of Stellenbosch conducted workshops with students and staff regarding research skills and getting published. Our postgraduate graduation and registration rate is looking healthy. Students are responding positively to the series of workshops on research skills which we implemented for the first time in 2007.
