DISTRIBUTED MULTIMEDIA CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE

The purpose of the Centre of Excellence (CoE) is to train engineers and related professionals in the expertise required in the telecommunications field through the development and execution of suitable research projects.
The centre will deliver appropriately prepared, high quality manpower, appropriate industry relevant expertise and course material. In addition, it will provide infrastructure for, and support research in areas such as traffic patterns and dimensioning of networks, feasibility of delivery across wireless networks, tradeoff studies of data caching mechanisms,system charging mechanisms, types of service and management.
