Treasure the Karoo Action Group

 Working together with the Treasure the Karoo Action Group SEACC SF is working on raising awareness and lobbying around the issue of fracking in South Africa. 

Treasure Karoo Action Group (TKAG) is here for YOU. We oppose the introduction and licensing of FRACKING in South Africa in the absence of conclusive proof that FRACKING is the only and the best answer to our energy and employment needs in SA.

As a non-profit organisation (NPO), TKAG is  staffed mainly by VOLUNTEERS. Since January 2011 TKAG has developed an enviable media profile – we are recognized, around the world as a counterpoint to those that would FRACK SOUTH AFRICA tomorrow.

Through a comprehensive focus on research, our press releases, brochures and comics have informed many people in SA about FRACKING.

We are especially concerned for those who live in the KAROO and know nothing about the plans of oil and gas companies to push FRACKING into South Africa.
