Smart Energy Challenge

RU Green has been working to develop an energy challenge among the various different residences in Grahamstown. The aim is to pilot a new technology in South Africa to monitor energy usage online among the various different residences and then to have them compete against each other to see who can reduce their energy usage the most. The winner will take home a great prize and ecological fame. We have developed a project proposal and are awaiting the arrival of SMART Monitoring technologies, which we hope to be among the first to pioneer in South Africa.
