Warden's Welcome

Welcome to Phelps House. We (warden, sub-wardens, house committee, seniors) work together to provide a warm, supportive home away from home for all who join the Phelps family.

This is a relatively small three level residence, housing 50 single rooms, communal bathrooms on each floors, two common rooms as well as a laundry room.

You will soon discover that Phelps tends to ‘fly under the radar’ when it comes to ‘popularity’ in comparison to other residences on campus. We liked to think that this because we prioritize the following above notoriety:

• Strong record of academic success
• Developing a strong sense of civic responsibility through our now well established community engagement activities
• As well as consciously been respectful, considerate and extending genuine concern for each other which is our way of demonstrating sisterhood.

I am really looking forward to you living with us and experiencing the positive contribution you will have a chance to make as a member of the Phelps family.
