Rhodes represents in Russia

Mandla Gagayi, Head of Sports at Rhodes University, has been appointed the Deputy Chef de Mission of the University Sports South Africa (USSA) delegation to the World Student



Rhodes University produced an epic performance to overcome Varsity Shield side, University of Fort Hare (UFH) 28-14 on Saturday. The game began with a brilliant solo effort from Rhodes fullback Tafadzwa Chitokwindo. He gathered the ball on the halfway line, sprinted past a defender, chipped the ball over UFH’s last defender and dotted down to give Rhodes an early 5-0 lead.


Rhodes hot-shots win 19 medals

The Rhodes University Rifle Club returned from the South African Target Rifle Association’s 68th Annual Small-Bore Championships in Bloemfontein with a total of 19 medals.
