It is similar drama in the men’s section  where Graham House and Piet Retief (joint 3rd position) may also break some hearts if Winchester and Calata do not tread carefully. A big disappointment in the men’s section is Oppidan whom everyone before the start of the season thought they will simply walk all over their opponents because of their large numbers. However, what was not considered is that amount of organization that comes with assembling an Oppidan team. This alone puts most residences at an advantage because, for a residence, it only takes an intercom or a run down a corridor to get all players together.

Winchester also leads the Spirit Award section, having participated in all 11 events, followed by Prince Alfred with 10 events. This means that we may possibly have a double winner at the end of the season.

The four remaining events are: Round the Block; Dance Sport; Indoor Rowing; and Squash.

Rhodes Sport would like to thank all the Sports Reps and Wardens for their support!!!
