Ngcikhwe said the pre-season event will be held for all schools so the pupils can get a feel of the cross-country events. He said it would then be up to the schools to keep the pupils in training up until the league event later in May. The league event will start at 9am with a number of events, including the men's open 12km, girls' 4krn and boys' 6krn events. There will also be a 3km event for boys and girls between 9 and 13.
