Ton up for CuppleditchDate Released: Wed, 19 June 2013 16:00 +0200
Sarah Cuppleditch, a grade 12 Diocesan School for Girls (DSG) pupil, took to the field on Saturday 15 June for her 100th DSG 1st team hockey game.
Cuppleditch is the third DSG girl to achieve this momentous occasion, following behind Sarah Blunden and Caitlin Dugmore. Sarah started playing for the DSG 1st XI hockey in her grade 9 year, in 2010.
She became a regular member in the starting line-up from her Grade 10 year and this year she is Vice Captain of the DSG 1st hockey team. Sarah has been a key played in the DSG defense. She is a natural player and her ability has lead to her representing the Eastern Province in several teams.
Sarah also plays as a member of the Rhodes University 1st XI. This is an outstanding and deserved achievement and what made the occasion even more special was that she earned her 100th cap against Kingswood College on K-Day.
