First Aid

The Rhodes University First Aid club is open to all RU students. It offers a Level 3 Certificate in collaboration with St John’s ambulance in Grahamstown where training is carried out and following successful completion of practical and theory assessment and carrying out 3 duties, the certificate is issued. Joining the club is a very enriching experience for an individual as one learns a lot about team work, how to respond in complex situations and add value to one’s life.

 One will usually gain a lot of insight, social interaction and personal development. First Aid is involved throughout the year with all sporting events held at Rhodes University, also with community engagement and also has entertainment for social interaction of its members.
