Hockey
The Hockey club is one of the largest sport clubs at Rhodes, and for good reason!
We compete in the EP hockey league at the highest level down to 2nd division level, with 4 men’s teams and 4 ladies’ teams being competitive at their appropriate level. These games are played on the weekends in PE or at the Rhodes Astroturf and team practices are held on week nights. Each year the 1st men’s and ladies’ XI take part in the USSA hockey tournament with both teams taking the silver medal in the B division in 2009.

For the more non-serious players, we also run a social league where teams play against each other regularly, these matches generally taking place on Friday evenings. The club prides itself on being competitive in the leagues and producing provincial players, where they compete for EP and above, and also maintain a good social atmosphere, through club functions and other events.
The club also received the “Most improved club of the year” for 2008, and “Sports club of the year”, “Committee of the year”, “Coach of the year” and “Administrator of the year” for 2009.
