Certificate in Office Administration
Subject to the approval for quality purposes by the Centre for Higher Education, Research, Teaching and Learning (CHERTL), the Human Resources Division will once again be offering the Certificate Course in Office Administration.
This programme aims to equip learners with critical knowledge and skills to be effective office administrators. This course is at NQF level 5 which is the post-matric qualification level, seen to be equivalent to a 1 year qualification from technical colleges or technikons. Learners entering this programme will be expected to have at least a matric qualification, preferably with some experience in the office administration environment. As many of the assignments require application within the workplace, the learner must be currently in an office administration, clerical or secretarial job.
