Configuring Google Talk
- Start Google Talk by double-clicking on its icon
- Choose the Settings menu
- Click on Connection on the left hand side of the Settings dialog
- Click the Use the following proxy:
- Put the following in the Host and Port field respectively
- Host: wwwproxy.ru.ac.za
- Port: 3128
- Input your Rhodes username and password for the internet.
- Click OK
