Configuring Spybot Search and Destroy
- Open Spybot S&D
- Go to mode and select advanced so that there is a tick shown next to it as below
- Click ok on the box that comes up
- Click on settings in the left hand column (1)
- Click on the settings underneath it (2) so that the window looks like below
- From here scroll down the right hand side box till you get to webupdates
- Click use proxy settings under the web update section(If it is already selected unselect it then reselect it)
- Enter in the fields(Host and Port) as seen below when the proxy settings window pops up (Top Right)
- With your username in place of "g07b2314" and your password in the section marked Password.
- Ensure that proxy server needs login is ticked
- Click ok
- Now everytime you try get updates for spybot it should work without a hitch :).
