During the sign-up process you're prompted to install anti-virus and automatic update software, as well as Rhodes' CA certificate.
If for any reason you need to re-install this software, you can download the installers using the links below.
- Rhodes Wireless Installer (SecureW2) — needed to connect the wireless network
- Rhodes Automatic Updates Settings
- Rhodes' Certificate Authority Signing Certificate
- Software Update Enabler (Apple)
You may have to install the CA certificate separately in each web browser you use.
Note that site-licensed anti-virus software is no longer available. You may purchase your own or use one of the free alternatives (such as Microsoft Security Essentials or AVG). Using up-to-date anti-virus software remains a pre-requisite of signing up for Student Networking. If you don't have anti-virus software, you'll be asked to install Microsoft Security Essentials during the sign-up process.
