Off-Campus Locations Managed by GEEnet

Several complexes are directly connected to the Student Network via infrastructure owned and maintained by GEEnet.  This is an arrangement between the developer or body corporate and GEEnet; it is not part of the service provided by the University.

GEEnet charge an additional fee for the management and maintenance of their infrastructure.  As of 27 February 2012, this was R720 per annum, billed pro rata depending on time of initiation of service.  More details of the service provided by GEEnet, and up-to-date pricing, might be found on their web site (www.geenet.co.za).

Please note that the University is not involved in setting the above pricing, nor is it in a position to provide any support for or answer any queries about GEEnet's infrastructure.  Please direct any queries about this aspect to either the body corporate of your complex or GEEnet as appropriate.
