Off-Campus Locations Managed by Insight Technologies

Several complexes are directly connected to the Student Network via infrastructure owned and maintained by Insight Technologies.  This is an arrangement between the developer, home owners association, or body corporate and Insight; it is not part of the service provided by the University.

Insight charge an additional fee for the management and maintenance of their infrastructure.  As of 29 February 2012, this was R840 per annum.  Insight have indicated that the fee reduces pro-rata depending on the time of year one signs up.  Between 1 December and 31 March, the full rate is charged.  Between 1 April and 31 July, ? of the year's rate is charged, and between 1 August and 30 November, ? of the year's rate is charged.  More details of the service provided by Insight Technologies, and up-to-date pricing, can be obtained from their offices in Peppergrove Mall.

Insight Technologies have told us that they also make their "iNet Internet" option available as an alternative offering all all locations they maintain, as well as in a number of other flat complexes in town.
