I am Thabo Seshoka; I am in my 3rd year studying a B.A Law, Politics and Anthropology.
I head up the Rhodes University's Student Representative Council (SRC), Community Engagement (CE) portfolio, is the portfolio that is responsible for the interaction between the SRC and the community. The CE portfolio is devoted to helping the greater community and it works in line with Rhodes University's mission statement which proclaims that we shall strive, " through community service to contribute to the development of the Eastern Cape. Our CE policy commits the university to actively work to improve the quality of life of individuals in Grahamstown and Eastern Cape communities" (Dr.Badat, Vice-Chancellor).
