My name is Sakh'usomeleze Badi and I am doing my Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Economics. As a student body it is vital to know that we are in an era where students need to move away from the confinements of their own individualistic concerns, whether affluent or not, whether black, white, coloured or pink, whether bisexual, transsexual, homosexual, heterosexual etc? If we want to be a progressive leadership we need to implement programs of action that tackle issues of inclusiveness, classism, racialism, sexism and democracy in the institutions governance and education, what students learn and what history is learnt. Having said that please do participate in the processes of formulating new strategies and developing our own institution.
