Sexual Violence=Silence Protest Sign-up Still Open
Date Released: Sun, 27 March 2011 23:28 +0200
The RUconnected Silent Protest sign-up page is up and running and this year’s protest will be on the 1st Friday of 2nd term. We current have 1100 people signed up.
There are some new options this year i.e. have last year's t-shirt/need t-shirt; so please check all the relevant fields properly. Make sure to fill in the email address you actually check and put the full address in i.e. not just g020123 but g02k0123@campus.ru.ac.za. Also, please be sure to indicate whether you will be a res student or an oppie in 2011 – this is for catering purposes.
If you have participated before please wear your t-shirt from a previous year since t-shirt printing is by far the biggest expense related to the protest and is the major factor limiting growth. The more of you that wear your old shirt the more new people we can sign up.
If you would like to participate in the silent protest please register by following the instructions below. All the information you need about the protest is on the RUConnected page.
