Resignation of SRC Academic Councillor

The SRC regrets to inform the Student Body of the resignation of the Academic Councillor, Ms. Mariska de Beer.

Ms. de Beer resigned due to personal reasons.

As per the Constitution of the Student, the runner-up, Mr Jacob Nwigwe, has been approached and has accepted the position as Academic Councillor to replace Ms. de Beer.

The SRC would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms. de Beer for all her
hard work in her time in office, and to wish Mr. Nwigwe all the best as the
newly elected Academic Councillor of 2011.
