UPSTART: Volunteers needed for special Fest prog

We are currently looking for a special group of volunteers to assist with the Upstart Festival programme. Details on the various volunteer positions are listed below.

Dates: Start and end dates for all volunteering positions are negotiable, but in some instances a significant portion of the work needs to be done before Festival starts. In other cases, the majority of work will be done during Festival.

UPSTART POETRY – BOOK LAUNCH
We are looking for a volunteer to assist with the logistics of the book launch and coordinate a publicity campaign around the book. If you are creative, energetic and have an interest in publicity/media, this is the ideal volunteering position for you. An eye for detail is also needed!

UPSTART FLASHMOB
We are looking for volunteers to assist with the Upstart Flashmobs to be run during Fest. If you are energetic and have a sense of fun, then this is the ideal chance for you to get involved. Dancing is strictly optional! We need at least 2 people to help us with logistics.

UPSTART IN THE STREET PARADE
This year, Upstart will be taking part in the Fest Street Parade again. If you'd like to assist with choreography/planning Upstart's contribution to the parade, then this is the chance to get involved!

UPSTART REVIEWS
We are looking for volunteers to assist Upstarters with writing reviews for Festival shows. Volunteers will need to accompany Upstarters to shows (comps will be provided) and then assist the learner with writing a review. We are also looking for a very organised volunteer to coordinate scheduling for the Upstart review volunteers and learners!
